Scope
This policy covers bayroster.com, the marketing website and public fictional demo for BayRoster, operated by Dirt River Design in Thompson, ND. A customer’s own BayRoster installation is a separate system from this site; its operating data belongs to that operator and is governed by that engagement, not by this policy.
What this site collects
Only what you enter into the contact form: name, email address, optional phone number, and message. The form also records the submission time and IP address so its spam rate limit can work.
There is no customer account to create on the marketing site, no newsletter, no advertising pixel, and nothing to buy here.
What happens to a message
A contact message is written to a private server log first and then emailed to me. The log prevents a mail outage from silently losing the submission. I use the information to answer you. It is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Functional storage
The contact form uses a short-lived session cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery. The public demo uses its own session only to maintain demo access. Neither is an advertising identifier, and the demo contains fictional data.
Third parties
If spam protection is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile handles the challenge under Cloudflare’s terms. Outgoing email passes through a mail provider in the ordinary way. If card payments are enabled on a customer’s separate BayRoster installation, that operator has its own agreement with Stripe; this marketing site does not take payments.
How long information is kept
Contact messages and their logs are kept while useful to the conversation they belong to. Ask me to delete yours and I will.
Your choices
You can ask what I hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. Email [email protected] or call (701) 732-0799.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date in the document record changes with it.
